Environmental education project in "Bachelet"
In 1995-96 ITCS Bachelet activated a three-years-long environmental project (Progetto di Educazione ambientale "Conosciamo un’area protetta nel territorio della scuola, Il Parco Naturale del Pineto"). This project is characterized by researches on the territory aiming at the development of the students’ awareness of the complexity of the environmental phenomena. Coordinator of the project is Viscardo Squartini.

In 1999-2000 the research and experimental project "Educazione ambientale e studio del territorio" was activated. This new project – within a way of teaching on the territory aiming at the analysis and comprehension of the environmental complexity – develops educational research through the experimentation of forming interdisciplinary context characterized by active participation of students. Also the new project is three-years-long, collaborate on coordination with Viscardo Squartini Mrs. Cinzia Fiorini.
