Julodis manipularis (Fabricius, 1798)

This is a very particular and impressive species, endemic of Western and Central Morocco (among Atlantic Ocean, Rif, Moyen Atlas and Haut Atlas), where it may be very common in the right places and seasons. It can show a big number of different colours (green, blue, violet, copper, golden, brown to black) in the same population, but there are also monochromatic populations. Typical for its elytare with long hair.
