The school joins the Comenius Project promoted by the European Community that is a plan for the creation of a more European and cosmopolitan school thanks to yearly cultural and didactic exchanges with students and teachers from all over Europe.
The teachers of the school organize also afternoon courses based on revision lessons for students with particular problems in learning.
In the afternoon the school is opened to all the students who need the help of the teachers for extra explanations.
In the school there is also a drama course held by professional actors and every year the students perform a play in the local theatre.
The school organizes school outings for didactic purposes and study tours abroad.
The students have at their disposal a very well equipped library fitted up with more than 3000 books for reference or on loan.
The school offers both to students and teachers advanced media like internet to get always in touch with a new cultural dimension.
There is a very active sporting group specialized in volley-ball, athletics and other disciplines. The trainings are made in the school gymnasiums and in the play-ground in front of the school.
The best and most successful students of the school are awarded with scholarships.
The new enrolled students coming from the Middle School are welcome by a good reception service.

Among the various secondary schools located in the area around Tivoli the school "Isabella d'Este" has always had a very prestigious role in the local culture for training many generations of teachers. Even if the new educational reform has changed the organization of the training schools for teachers modifying the organization of the courses, our school is able to offer new opportunities to the future teachers thanks to the new experimental courses based on the Project Brocca in fact the linguistic and sociopedagogical courses have a big success among students.

In the first forms a particular importance is given to the study of foreign languages through modern and qualified methods in fact the school is equipped with an updated linguistic and multimedial laboratory.Moreover, in the linguistic course, the school provides lessons held by mother tongue teachers and a very active cultural exchange with schools abroad.
As concerns the sociopedagogical courses they continue the prestigious old tradition of the school but propose new subjects and innovative methodologies and give to every student the opportunity to be ammitted to every kind of university courses even if the logic completion should be Science of the Education.
